Jim Miller Softball Classic

This weekend has been so much fun. We have a whole weekend-long tourney dedicated to Jim Miller for his dedication to girls softball a major part of his life. So far the 12U league has been doing awesome. Tomorrow is our championship game! I'm so excited. I love getting out on that field that Jim stood on, and taught me how to catch, field, and hit the ball. I love being out there playing for him. I can do at least that for such a big thing he did for all of us. I've never missed someone as much as Jim. He was like a father to me. He did so much for each and every girl playing softball. I know I've learned from the best coach that anyone could've had. I love and miss you Jim. I know you're up in heaven watching down on us play for you, in your tourney, dedicated just to you. I know you're proud of each girl out there playing for you. This tourney will make sure that you'll never be forgotten.

InNotOf

Two weeks back i went to camp for a week. I learned so much. The theme was teenage mutant ninja turtles. I learned how to live in this world, but not of it. And even though that may seem easy, I learned, its really not. I'll go through loneliness. But everything happens for a reason and I know God has a plan for my life and one day I'll be up in heaven with him. That week of camp was the best week ever. I feel like I'm at the ago where i can understand how God works alot easier. Addyson has gone with me to camp the past two years and we enjoy spending a whole week together. I love going and meeting new people. I went to the week where some of my friends I met last year I got to see them again this week. So i enjoyed my week at camp.

*summer '09*

its been quite a while since i've posted anything. well so far this summer i've been busy with softball..last weekend we had a tournament in tell city. it was alot of fun even though we didnt win a game..this week alyssa has gone to haiti. she has been calling us everyday and checking up on us..this coming weekend im going boating for my friends birthday party..so thats going to be alot of fun and then sunday i leave for church camp..im really excited..im leaving for florida next friday so these next few weeks are going to be busy! im so glad to finally be out of school for the summer..this year has gone by so fast..well that's about all thats been going on with me lately..pray for the haiti team that they have a safe trip back home!

well the holidays are over, i just turned 13!! and we finally got snow thats been staying!!!! last week on monday night we got a huge snow storm! so tuesday i was starting to get bored so, as smart as i am, i went outside and tried to skimboard on the snow..(i know, its really stupid=]) i kinda got it on flat land so i decided to go downhill and do it. well i kinda missed and fell on my knees. well with the inch of sleet we got my landing didnt feel too great. i got huge bruises all over my knees. i just sat there for a minute realizing that what i just did was really stupid. haha i got up and went on though. i still have the bruises but it doesnt hurt. we only went to school one day last week. we got a little blizzard tuesday morning so no school on tuesday! and it snowed again last night so no school on wednesday either!! its getting kinda boring be @ home though. well im gonna go!
